This is were we fly from and is a wonderfully preserved airfield. Originally constructed in 1929 many of the original buildings remain. This shot shows the new runway lettering. Pilots note 20/02 is/was closed for maintenance...and this has given me at leat one interesting landing with a 90 degree crosswind! I took another view on the same day looking down 27;
