Holy Trinity church

The land along the northern edge of Holy Trinity church and up to the new Cathedral contains the buried remains of St Mary's which was demolished by Henry the Eighth. This area was excavated for TV's Time Team program. Originally it would have looked a lot like the one which has survived as Lichfield Cathedral.
