Founded around 1135 and dissolved by Henry VIII in 1538 Byland abbey is now under
the care of English Heritage and open to the public. The photos of Byland Abbey
were taken in early 2009 using the very best eqipment available which was a Canon
1DS mkIII, mounted on a Kenlabs KS 8 Gyro stabilizer with canons sharpest lens,
the 85mm f1.2L plus the 50mm f1.2 for the wider views, click
