aerial photographs of Arbor Low Henge monument in Derbyshire England
Arbor Low is a Neolithic Henge in Derbyshire. The aerial photographs are taken
in November 2008 with the low winter sun emphasizing the archaeology. The camera
used was the best camera available for aerial photography in 2008 which is the
Canon 1DS mkIII. This was mounted on a Gyro stabilizer and shot through canons
sharpest lens, the 85mm f1.2. By using a prime lens instead of a zoom lens it
creates images that are so sharp they should be handled with gloves!. Click
