Eddisbury Iron Age Hill Fort
Taken early in 2006 these are few of a large set of aerial photographs I've done of the site. The low winter sun shows every undulation of the archaeology of the 2000+ year old site. The corner of the Ironage Hillfort has recently been "improved" by some landscape gardening and the addition of a double garage. Its thought that the double garage does not date from the Iron age. The site is under the protection of Vale Royal Borough Council.
