ref -no. Goathland 2097 This shot shows the station and then just along the road at the top of the picture is the Goathland Hotel which plays the "Aidesnfield Arms" in the TV prrogram. Note how well archeology shows in the winter sun, there are ridge and furrow field markings to the left and the lines what may have been a building behind the hotel.I have lots more photos of the village on my Goathland page, along with a shot labelled to show the different locations for the TV program.
