First the important news, 2005 and I have just done a major aerial survey of Macclesfield and uploaded the images to my new Macclesfield from the air gallery. Because of the volume of images I've had to completely re write everything with new database software which means I can't re write this page, so this is now archived and no longer linked into the main gallery. I will leave it here for a bit until (or if ! ) the search engines find the new stuff. Although this page is now replaced all the images above are still available and you can order them through the shopping cart as normal. I still have a vast number of negatives which are not online yet, many not even scanned so if your looking to buy something in particular just email and ask.

Quality;- online images are very low resolution, typically your monitor will have a resolution of only 72 dots per inch whereas even a magazine quality print will be at 300 dots per inch and most inkjet printers are running into thousands of dots per inch. In addition the images have to be compressed to the smallest possible size so that you can download and view them in a reasonable time Typically the online image is only around 10% of the size of the full uncompressed image used for printing. Purchased prints are beyond comparison with the internet version.
Frames are only available within the UK, prints are available worldwide (overseas customers are responsible for any import duties).
