This shot was taken on a spectacularly good day, in fact it was the best day of 2004 for aerial photography. The unusually good visibility was brought about by temperatures well below freezing. It was minus 4 when I took this, and that's not counting the wind chill effects of leaning out of the aircraft into a 100mph plus slipstream!
