Old Trafford Cricket Ground

Old Trafford Cricket Ground photographed in May 2005. This the home of the LCCC ( Lancashire County Cricket Club) and is situated in Old Trafford just to the west of Manchester city centre. The ground was first opened in 1857 and the first international match was played in 1884. Since I last photographed it in 2001 it has lost one stand where you can see the new tarmac in the picture.

I shot the image on a Canon 20D with an L series 24-70 f2.8 so it should be pretty good.
