Stadium History
The Everton Football Club was formed in 1878 as the St. Domingo F.C. The name was changed in the following year to Everton FC. The club moved to Goodison Park in 1892 after trouble with rents at the previous Anfield ground. The highest attendance at Goodison park was in 1948 with over 78000
