You are buying directly from the photographer, all images sold on the website are taken by me, Jonathan C. K. Webb . As far as I am aware the quality of my recent images is the very best available bar non. My 2008 work (cb reference numbers) is done on the 21 Megapixel £5000 Canon 1DS mkIII mounted on a Kenlabs KS8 Gyrostabilizer and shooting through Canons finest lenses. This means you can see small details such as people inside the stadiums. My extra large poster sized prints are breathtaking. I fly almost every week and take more than 50,000 aerial photographs a year...... and I'm getting quite good at it!
Do you want to see one more?..... well here are 2 slightly further away, Germany to be precise. Now as the main audience is local I've written it in German and priced it in Euros, but if you can't live without your own print then just email me and I will put something in English and pounds. Before you ask, its a one off ... ok its a 2 off ;o) ...... and I have no more German stadiums.
2008 Stolen images for sale elsewhere on the web: There are currently a lot of my images being sold by other people. Any evidence of people stealing my images you can send me is most welcome. Typical cases involve people copying the images from my website, removing my name and then using the image on the web or selling cheap small prints. These prints are very low quality as my web images are only half a megapixel and very compressed, originals are printed from as much as 21 megapixels. If you see an image identical to a webaviation one being used on the web, or offered for sale please email me. I am especially keen to hear from people who have bought cheap prints copied from my images. Please email or phone. Stealing images takes money away from me, the photographer, that would otherwise go towards taking new images. In 2008 the situation is so bad that planned flights to do more of my stunning night photographs, with matches in play, have been cancelled and football fans are missing out on what could have been some exceptional world class images.
2007 I am withdrawing frames for sale with the stadia photos as the size and weight makes these uneconomic to post
Also in 2007 I am increasing the size of many of the prints to reflect the wider format of the new digital cameras as opposed to the old medium format.
