aerial photograph of the Tudor Merchant's House, Saint Nicolas' Place, Birmingham, England UK. As the name suggests, the Tudor Merchant's house was originally a house built by a Merchant called Humphrey Rotsey in 1492. The building was further extended in 1510 and in the 18th Century it was converted to a pub called the Saracen's Head. The Pub closed in 1930 and the building became dilapidated, however following appeals on the TV restoration program the building has been restored to its former glory.
