aerial photograph of The Parish and Priory Church of St George Dunster Somerset England UK, with Dunster Dovecote in the foreground and Dunster Tithe Barn to the left of the image. The church was built in the 12th Century with modifications in the 13th and 15th centuries. Most of what remains today dates from the 15th century including the magnificent tower which was build in 1443. The Tithe Barn is 14th Century was originally part of Dunster Priory which was dissolved by Henry VIII in 1539. The Dovecote probably dates from around the 16th century with the exact date of construction unknown.
