Aerial photograph of The Hub Edinburgh Scotland UK. Built 1842-1845 The Hub is a magnificent example of Gothic Revival architecture. Intended to be a meeting hall for the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. the building was designed by Augustus Pugin and J Gillespie Graham. It was used as a church from 1929 to 1979 , after which it has becomethe home of the Edinburgh International Festival.
