The mixed use retail and office development was designed by EPR Architects and constructed by Sir Robert McAlpine. An unusual feature of the building is that it is mounted on rubber shock absorbers to absorb vibrations from trains which run directly underneath. Also in the photograph are The View, Palace Street, and Portland House, Bressenden Pl Westminster, London SW1E 5RS. The 29 story Portland House was built in 1963 to a design by Howard, Fairbairn & Partners
