aerial photograph Evesham Abbey,Evesham Worcestershire England UK . Evesham Abbey was founded in the 8th century and dissolved by Henry VIII during the reformation in 1540. The Abbey was largely demolished following dissolution, however the 16th century Bell Tower was allowed to remain. The two churches in the photograph are also survived dissolution. In the foreground is Grade II listed St Lawrence's Church and on the left is Grade I listed All Saints Parish Church both of which were built in the 12th century.
