aerial photograph of Crewe Diesel Traction Maintenance Depot ( TMD ) , Cheshire,UK. Crewe TMD was opened in 1958 at a time when Diesel was replacing steam. Today the site is operated by Locomotive Storage Limited and is also LNWR Heritage have thier offices here. The site is used for these storage of heritage rolling stock including steam locomotives. The long building in the photo is the recently constructed new carriage shed which can store 22 heritage carriages under cover.

Click the album name to see nearby images. There is a search facility ( bottom left ) but this only works with words I have put into it. That's fine for searches of places or well known buildings but in most cases I have not entered road name or a post code.
