aerial photograph of Porthgain, in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park , Pembrokeshire Wales. Porthgain was once a busy port exporting slate and brick all over the world. The trade has long since gone, but the remains of hoppers, which once stored crushed dolerite, still dominate the harbour. Today the village is a conservation area popular with tourists in the summer season.
