aerial Photograph of Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery (Chillington House) Maidstone Kent UK. Originally built in the 16th century as an Elizabethan house called Chillington House, the Grade II listed building is currently used as the Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery. The building was heavily restored during the Victorian period. The timber framed building at the top of the photo was the south wing of Court Lodge East Farleigh, which was dismantled and re-erected at this location in 1874.
