aerial Photograph of Wye Memorial Crown Kent UK. The Wye Crown was carved into the hillside in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII. The geoglyph was created by a local agricultural college and took 4 days for 35 students to create. Chalk hill figures require regular maintenance and so in 1991 the surface was covered in white painted flint stone to improve the durability of the work.
