aerial photograph of King Arthur's Round Table, Cumbria, prehistoric henge monument built some time in the Neolithic period. As late as the 17th century there were still standing stones on the site, however these were remove some time before 1725. It is one of several nearby sites including Little Round Table and Mayburgh Henge which are all within sight of one another indicating the area was of great importance in the Neolithic period.
