The Old Church of St Augustine is now a ruin but the early English ( medieval ) tower remains intact. The mediaeval north aisle arcade also remains and connects to the Chancel which has been restored. The building is Grade II listed. The "new" , St Augustine's Church was built in a new Gothic style in 1822-23 to a design by to H J Underwood of Oxford and is itself Grade II listed.
