aerial photograph of St Editha Church Tamworth Staffordshire England UK. The Grade I listed Church of St. Editha has its origins in the Saxon Period with a 9th Century Church built on the site. This was altered and improved during the early medieval period and then the church was fully rebuilt in the 14th century following a fire which destroyed most of the Saxon Church. The Tower was added ion the 15th Century and there was some restoration work in the 19th Century.
