aerial photograph of Castell Aberlleiniog on Anglesey North Wales. The Castle is a Norman Motte and Bailey Castle originally built of timber in the late 11th Century and later rebuilt in stone. The castle withstood a siege in 1094 before being destroyed in the 17th Century.
