aerial photograph of Wollaton Hall Nottingham England UK .Wollaton Hall is a fine example of an Elizabethan Prodigy house and was constructed between 1580 and 1588 for Sir Francis Willoughby who earned his fortune through coal. Today the Grade II listed hall is owned by Nottingham Council and open as a museum housing the Nottingham Natural History Museum, with Nottingham Industrial Museum in the adjacent out-buildings.
