aerial photograph of Conishead Priory Ulverston Cumbria UK. Conishead Priory was founded in the 12th century but dissolved by Henry VIII in the 16th Century. The current house was built 1821 to 1836 with extensions in 1853. The building was designed by design by Philip Wyatt and George Webster. In the 21st century the building became delapidated but has been rescued by the Buddhist community who have restored it and use it as a Buddhist Centre. The building is Grade II listed.
